While searching for his missing father, Kit Taylor finds an Advent Deck—a special card deck that allows the carrier to transform into a Kamen Rider and utilize unique weapons and powers—and uses it to become Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. He butts heads with Len, who serves as Kamen Rider Wing Knight, but the pair join forces after Kit learns that an alien warlord named General Xaviax is responsible for his father's disappearance and intends on abducting him and the entire human race to gain power and rebuild Xaviax's homeworld.

Kamen Riders

Created by the "Advent Master" Eubulon, the original 12 Kamen Riders were the chosen defenders of the "mirror world" known as Ventara. With the exception of Wing Knight (and later Siren), they were all implied to have been vented in battle with Xaviax when one of their own (the original Dragon Knight, Adam) betrayed them and their Advent Decks were stolen. Since the Decks were designed to work with only one person, each Deck only functions again when given to humans on Earth that are "mirror twins" of their Ventaran counterparts, with matching DNA or when Eubulon reassigns the deck. To access the powers, the chosen Deck wielder holds the Advent Deck carrier in front of them near a mirror or reflective surface to activate a burst of energy that creates the Advent Belt holder for the deck while calling out the words "Kamen Rider".

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight : As a very wide range of moves, even if he's not a strong fighter he is still one of the strongest Kamen Riders. Most involving his contracted Advent Beast Dragreder, as well as a varied set of Advent Cards making him relatively balanced in terms of potential combat ability.
Kit Taylor / Kamen Rider Onyx : The first protagonist, is a young adult who lost his father when he was a boy. Since then, he has been framed for many "misunderstandings" and has gained a reputation as a thief. He was placed in a foster home until he turned 18. From there, he makes his way to the apartment he spent his childhood in and found an Advent Deck that opened his senses to the presence of the monsters abducting people.
Adam / Kamen Rider Dragon Knight : The second protagonist is the original Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, and therefore Kit's Ventara counterpart, who betrayed the other Kamen Riders venting them while in suspended animation (save for Kase and Len) after being tricked by Xaviax like the Earth Riders. During his time of duty as the active Kamen Rider, he falls in love with a girl named Sarah. However, he meets her at an inopportune time as Adam has to hibernate soon.
Len : Kamen Rider Wing Knight : Is a mysterious figure who is fighting Xaviax's monsters who has the ability to transform into Kamen Rider Wing Knight armed with a bat Advent Deck. He is aloof in personality and tries to keep the Riders' existence a mystery from the public. His Advent Beast is Black Wing, a bat.
Richie Preston / Kamen Rider Incisor Is a son of a rich family. Richie becomes Kamen Rider Incisor armed with a crab Advent Deck when Xaviax assumes the guise of lawyer Walter Connors and tells him that he was cut off from his family fortune. He is given a false promise of a million dollars for each Rider he defeats. Richie acquires the Incisor Advent Deck and Advent Beast Volcancer. When the Final Vents of Incisor and Wing Knight collide
Ian / Kamen Rider Incisor : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Incisor. During the final battle, Ian the Ventaran Incisor was rescued from the Advent Void and used his Link Vent to destroy Xaviax.
Drew Lansing / Kamen Rider Torque : Is a con-man selling a supposed multi-purpose phone when the cops appeared outside of his shop. When exiting out the other door, he was approached by Xaviax in human form who shows him Ventara.
Chance / Original Kamen Rider Torque : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Torque. He was rescued by Master Eubulon from the Advent Void. Similar to Drew Lansing, he is prone to the occasional wise-cracks but is serious when it's time to work, but Chance jokes around a lot more than Drew does.
Grant Staley / Kamen Rider Camo : Is a devious underground martial artist who cheats in his karate fights which he does against his sensei by hiding a wrench in his glove. Grant was recruited by Xaviax in the form of mercenary Race Mattock to take on more challenges and becomes Kamen Rider Camo armed with a chameleon Advent Deck given to him by Xaviax.
Van : Original Kamen Rider Camo : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Camo. During the final battle, Eubulon rescues Van the Ventaran Camo, who uses his Link Vent to destroy Xaviax.
James Trademore / Kamen Rider Strike : Is a hacker and UFO specialist who is wanted by the US government for stealing some of their files. When he was caught, he was offered a deal by the No-Men: work for them and have his crimes overlooked or spend his time in jail. He declined their offer and consequently was sent to jail.
Pryce / Original Kamen Rider Strike : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Strike. He was rescued by Master Eubulon from the Advent Void. Similar to James Trademore, his mirror twin, Pryce is very charismatic and friendly. But as JTC has more of a snake-like personality, using that charisma for his own goals, Pryce is a lot more trustworthy and trusting, as well as being a lot more open.
Brad Barrett / Kamen Rider Thrust : Was originally a motocross player who was banned from motocrossing for a cheating scandal that he did not commit involving fellow racer Joe Stephens. He was approached by Xaviax in the form of Charlie Feathers giving him a false promise to clear his name if he defeated the other Riders in a "tournament" called Battle Club and becomes Kamen Rider Thrust armed with a rhinoceros Advent Deck.
Cameron / Original Kamen Rider Thrust : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Thrust. During the final battle, Cameron the Ventaran Thrust was rescued from the Advent Void and used his Link Vent to destroy Xaviax.
Danny Cho / Kamen Rider Axe : Is a money-hungry thief, but he always puts his family first. He lived a harsh life with only his brother Albert to help support him and vice versa. Following a recent motorcycle heist, he was approached by Xaviax who offered him and his brother a big paycheck in exchange for participating in "the biggest heist on Earth." Danny becomes Kamen Rider Axe, a Kamen Rider with a tiger Advent Deck.
Hunt / Original Kamen Rider Axe : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Axe. He was rescued by Master Eubulon from the Advent Void. He's a lone wolf type person who tends to fight on his own rather than with the other Riders. This serves as a strong contrast to his Earth counterpart
Christopher Ramirez / Kamen Rider Sting : Nicknamed Chris, was originally supposed to be a Marine like his father, to uphold a family tradition (four generations of Ramirez men have been marines since WWI). Unfortunately, he was medically discharged for having asthmatic complications that would endanger his life as a soldier, leaving Chris and his father Sergeant Daniel Ramirez's relationship strained.
Quinn / Original Kamen Rider Sting : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Sting. During the final battle, Eubulon rescued Quinn the Ventaran Sting who used his Link Vent to destroy Xaviax.
Albert Cho / Kamen Rider Spear : Is Danny's younger brother who will always fight by his side. Like his brother, he was approached by Xaviax who offered him and Danny a big paycheck in exchange for participating in "the biggest heist on Earth." He ends up becoming Kamen Rider Spear, a Kamen Rider with a gazelle Advent Deck.
Chase / Original Kamen Rider Spear : Is the original Ventaran Kamen Rider Spear. During the final battle, Eubulon manages to rescue Chase the Ventaran Spear who uses his Link Vent to destroy Xaviax.
Maya Young / Kamen Rider Siren : Is a young woman who is investigating the mysterious disappearances and believes in conspiracies, getting caught up in the Kamen Rider battle. She is a member of the website WayAboveTopSecret.com, which is themed around conspiracy theories and strange anomalies, especially those centering on the Mirror Monsters.
Kase / Original Kamen Rider Siren : Is the original Kamen Rider Siren, the sole female Kamen Rider, with a swan Advent Deck, and is a fellow survivor of Ventara like Len. She is eager hunter who acts the complete opposite of Len, who was unaware that she had survived.
Vic Frasier / Kamen Rider Wrath : Is a powerfully-built construction worker who was in a coma due to a construction accident. Xaviax drains his life energy like he did with Kit's father and uses his body to transform into Kamen Rider Wrath, a Kamen Rider with a phoenix Advent Deck. Xaviax decides to use Vic's body as he decides that eliminating Len, Kase and Kit are more important.
Nolan / Original Kamen Rider Wrath : Is the original Kamen Rider Wrath and was Len's mentor, similar to how Len currently mentors Kit. Because of this, Len despises how Xaviax is using Vic Frasier's body, especially since Xaviax also uses his human form. During the final battle, Nolan was rescued from the Advent Void and used his Link Vent to destroy Xaviax.
Kit Taylor / Kamen Rider Onyx : Originally represented the struggle that Kit was going through, confronting Onyx when he was feeling useless because of his jealousy towards Kase and using Onyx's power when confronted by Xaviax about his father. This was due to a phenomenon that Chance and Pryce refer to as the Advent Beast's rage imposing its will on the Rider's mind.

The No-Men are a group of government agents that get involved in the Earth/Ventaran conflict. Introduced as secondary antagonists where they capture Kit Taylor in order to know about the Kamen Riders, they soon are revealed as allies where they had found Eubulon's body. Among its known members are:

Agent Phillips : Is the head of the "No-Men" and Michelle Walsh's superior. When he received the info from Michelle about the Kamen Riders, Xaviax, and the Mirror Monsters, he instructed Michelle to head up a mission to apprehend Kit Taylor. They succeeded and Agent Phillips arranged for a "demonstration" by having the door to Kit's cell opened to lead him to a Mirror Monster.
Michelle Walsh : Is initially introduced as a reporter working under Maya's online editor who is intent to uncover the truth, yet is too arrogant to realize what is really happening in the city. When Maya tries to flush out the Kamen Rider, Michelle takes photos that stated that Maya faked a monster abduction, resulting in Maya getting fired by the site's online editor.
