- He is a former member of the organization known as Destron who becomes Riderman to seek vengeance againts Marshall Armor. He is also known as The Avenging Demon or Kamen Rider 4.

- Kamen Rider 4 is a cyborg created by Shocker. He is the fourth Kamen Rider following Kamen Rider 3 and the original Double Riders, Kamen Rider 1 and Kamen Rider 2.

- Kamen Rider 4 is the first rider to have a plane as his Rider Machine. Kamen Rider 4's ability of flight may also be in homage to Skyrider, who was actually the first Rider to be created by an actual Shocker successor in regular continuity and not by a group associated tangentially to Shocker.
Devices:
- Typhoon : Is Kamen Rider 4's transformation belt which has the same functions as that of the Double Riders and Kamen Rider 3. Unlike the other Typhoons, this Typhoon has a green-coloured strap.
- Gliding Wingsuit : Is a gliding through the air using a wingsuit which adds surface area to the Rider 4 body to enable a significant increase in lift. Wingsuit creates a surface area with fabric between the legs and under the arms.
- Sky Cyclone (Format Number MR-004) : Is Kamen Rider 4's personal fighter plane and flagship of the Shocker Air Force. It debuts in the net series D-Video Special: Kamen Rider 4. The Sky Cyclone is able to combine with two other Shocker Fighters, which attach to its wings. It was eventually destroyed by the combination attack of the Zero-Liner Drill and Booster Tridoron.
