As Blade, he harnesses the Beetle Undead DNA from the ♠A: Change Beetle Rouze Card, utilizing the Blay Buckle Rider System to fuse with the Beetle Undead's DNA. With the Blay Rouzer saber, he can "rouse" a sealed Suit-Spade Undead's power to utilize personally or use Common Blanks to seal the Undead.

Blade Riders:
- Kazuma Kenzaki / Kamen Rider Blade : as chosen by the B.O.A.R.D. organization to use the sealed Category Ace of Spades (Change Beetle) to become Kamen Rider Blade. He has a good heart and believes in fighting to protect humanity. He would ultimately sacrifice his own human existence by mutating into the second Joker after excessive use of his Rider form's King Form transformation.
- Sakuya Tachibana / Kamen Rider Garren : As originally a researcher of BOARD's Humanity Foundation who graduated from the Sazahaibu University and was selected to be the user of Rider System 01, using the sealed Category Ace of Diamond (Change Stag) to become Kamen Rider Garren. From the beginning of the series, Tachibana begins to suffer a form of cellular breakdown, and only by sealing the Undead did the process slow down.
- Hajime Aikawa / Kamen Rider Chalice / Joker : Is a mysterious man who is the human form of the Joker, the most feared of the Undead as his victory in the Battle Fight would mark the end of all life on Earth. Unsealed around the time the other Undead were released, Joker battled The Mantis Undead and uses the sealed Category Ace of Hearts (Change Mantis) to become the wild card Kamen Rider Chalice.
- Mutsuki Kamijo / Kamen Rider Leangle : Is a weak-willed 17-year-old high-school kid was chosen by the improperly sealed Category Ace of Clubs (Change Spider/Spider Undead) to use the Rider System 03 and become Kamen Rider Leangle, though reluctantly at first. He gains a thirst for power as the Spider Undead takes over his mind, using him to attack the other Riders
- Junichi Shimura / Kamen Rider Glaive : A character from the Kamen Rider film Kamen Rider Blade: Missing Ace. Like Hajime Aikawa, he is a Joker-class Undead with a white and pink color scheme, as opposed to Aikawa's black and green colors - thus the Albino Joker name. When the previous fight ended with Kenzaki sealing Hajime, he rose out of the shadows.
- Shin Magaki / Kamen Rider Lance : Was originally working as a waiter until he was fired after knocking out a rude customer. He was handpicked, along with Miwa Natsumi (Kamen Rider Larc), by Shimura Junichi, also known as Kamen Rider Glaive, to become the New Generation Riders for BOARD to capture the Undead released by the Albino Joker.
- Natsumi Miwa / Kamen Rider Larc : In the movie, she is the replacement of Kamen Rider Chalice and Kamen Rider Garren, for the team's long range fighter. Miwa originally applied as an office worker, but was berated by the boss. As a result, she knocked him out after having enough of his words. She was handpicked, along with Shin Magaki (Kamen Rider Lance), by Shimura Junichi (Kamen Rider Glaive) to become the New Generation Riders for BOARD to capture the Undead released by the Albino Joker.
- Kei Karasuma : Is the President of BOARD. A 48-year-old professor who created the Rider systems 01 and 02 (Garren and Blade), as well as the Leangle System (03), while he was under control of Isaka. During his travels, he befriends Noboru Shima, whom he entrusted the Rouze Absorbers to despite knowing he was an Undead. He is also aware of the side effect of Kenzaki's King Form as well as Tennoji's plans of the fake Battle Fight.
- Shiori Hirose : Is a 20-year-old lady who is one of the few remaining BOARD members after it was attacked by the released Undead, helping the Riders by detecting the Undead on her Undead-searching computer. She seems to care for Kenzaki very much.
- Yoshito Hirose : Is Shiori's father, the one responsible for breaking the Undead's seal in a fit of madness, dying in the process. He created the Trial-series Undead Trial B in his image to protect Shiori, possessing all his creator's memories. However, Trial B was reprogrammed by Tennōji to continue to monitor the fixed Undead battle and remove potential threats before he sacrifices to protect Shiori from Trial G.
- Hiroshi Tennoji : Is the chairman of BOARD who intentionally set up the series of events in the fake Battle Fight and the creation of the Category Ace Kerberos, so that he could have his warped dream of a new world order with himself as its ruler. In the end, he was murdered by the Giraffa Undead after he was defeated by the Riders with his dreams shattered.
- Amane Kurihara : Is Haruka's 9-year-old daughter and Kotaro's niece. She is a rude girl who has feelings for Hajime, and is the reason he discovers what it means to be human. In the original ending, she reunites and lives with Hajime happily.
- Kotaro Shirai : Is a 23-year-old aspiring writer, helping Kenzaki and Shiori's mission by giving them hospitality. He loves to drink milk.
- Noboru Shima / Tarantula Undead : Is the human form of the Tarantula Undead, the first King (of Clubs) Undead to appear. Shima is different from other Undead as he has a good heart and loves humanity, bringing the Rouze Absorber to Blade during his fight with the Elephant Undead. He helps Mutsuki to relinquish Spider Undead's influence by leaving himself be sealed by Leangle's Blizzard Crush.
Kamen Rider Blade : Missing Ace
In an alternate ending to the final episode, however, he was forced to seal Hajime as the Joker Undead, effectively ending the Battle Royale. Four years after, he became a garbage man who witnessed the combat of the New BOARD Riders when the Albino Joker released half of the Undead, eventually joining them back as Blade after Leangle resealed his Category Ace. He asked Leangle to unseal the Joker Undead so as to save Amane from the Albi Roaches.
Kamen Rider Decade
About 5 years later (after the series ending), Kazuma appears as one of the nine Heisei Riders in Kamen Rider Decade then battles Tsukasa after Wataru told the latter that destroying the nine Heisei Riders as his true goal.
Kamen Rider Decade : All Riders vs. Dai-Shocker
To stop the fusion and destruction of worlds, Tsukasa Kadoya, announced a tournament gathering all Riders to learn who was the strongest. Blade participated in the tournament fighting against Kamen Rider Stronger.
Kamen Rider Decade : Rider War
Kazuma shows up in the World of the Rider War pointing out that their real enemy isn't Dai-Shocker, appearing just before his equivalent, Kazuma Kendate and the iteration of the World of Blade was destroyed by Apollo Geist's merging of the Rider Worlds. Because he has parted with his friends, Kenzaki has seemingly grown more ruthless to the point of trying to kill Decade without mercy (something Kenzaki probably wouldn`t have done before becoming an Undead) or remorse.
Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider W & Decade : Movie War 2010
In Decade: Final Chapter in his regular Ace Form he teams up with Kamen Rider Ryuki to destroy Decade now in Violent Emotion's Form but Decade turns the tables on them by turning Kenzaki into Blade Blade to destroy Ryuki and later destroys him with his Final Attack Ride resulting in both Riders being turned into cards. He is later revived after Decade voluntarily lets himself be destroyed.
OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders
Kamen Rider Blade appears yet again in OOO, Den-O, All Riders: Let's Go Kamen Riders, fighting against Undead that allied themselves with Shocker and other Kamen Rider villains from the 40 years of the franchise. Although his human form isn't shown in the movie itself and he doesn't speak, Blade is confirmed to be Kazuma Kenzaki by the movie's official website.
Kamen Rider × Super Sentai : Super Hero Taisen
Blade, along with All Riders (until Fourze), tagged along with core Super Sentai members to fight Dai-Zangyack and Dai-Shocker. He is last seen using Refleclear (Gosei Blue's Power Cards) to counter Kani Laser's attack and use his Rider Kick (it's unknown if it is Lightning Blast or Lightning Sonic) along with Decade's Dimensional Kick and Ryuki's Dragon Rider Kick.
Kamen Rider Wizard
Blade appears with all the Heisei Riders from Kuuga to Fourze, led by Decade, in a special two-parter after the finale, The Ring of Kamen Rider and Neverending Story.
Heisei Rider Vs. Showa Rider : Kamen Rider Taisen Feat. Super Sentai
Despite the fact that it was not shown in the movie itself, Blade was killed by a Showa Rider and was turned into a Lockseed. Blade later appeared when Gaim and ZX released all of the Kamen Riders from their Lockseeds.
Super Hero Taisen GP : Kamen Rider 3
In a timeline alteration, after Shocker gained their victory, most Riders had been placed under their control with Leangle leading a small portion of their army. Kamen Rider Blade was claimed to be imprisoned by Tachibana during their infiltration to Shocker's base. However, it was revealed to be a lie as Tachibana was already an evil rider alongside Kenzaki.l brainwashed after they couldn't accept how Shocker treated its own allies and aiding Drive.

- Ace Form is the default transformation of Rider System-02. The transformation harnesses the Beetle Undead's DNA cultured from the ♠A: "Change Beetle" Rouse Card and, via the Blay Buckle, initiates a fusion with Kazuma Kenzaki into Kamen Rider Blade.
